RedOwl Adds Voice Capability to Regulatory Surveillance Platform Using Verint Risk and Compliance Analytics Solutions
SAN FRANCISCO & MELVILLE, N.Y.
RedOwl, the leader in human risk analytics, today announced a global partnership with Verint® Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: VRNT). The technology integration is designed to enable organizations to proactively detect and deter unwanted and/or illegal insider behavior, improve the effectiveness of front-office reviews, and reduce response times for regulatory requests and audits.
In today’s heavily regulated environments, voice recordings are often a missing component within trade and electronic communications surveillance strategies. With the combined solutions from RedOwl and Verint, organizations can leverage a proactive approach to identifying and thwarting illegal activities by closely monitoring the thousands of daily phone calls that occur on the trading floor. Additionally, RedOwl clients now have the ability to include voice recordings with the other types of data its platform monitors, as well as access multilingual transcriptions of the calls with automatic caller separation to support global client operations.
RedOwl helps compliance teams, auditors and business managers proactively monitor and mitigate regulatory risk inside financial institutions. The RedOwl platform combines key communications sources, such as email content, chat, and now voice, with structured data, including trades, physical access logs, human resources records, news feeds and print logs. The insight into these numerous data sources provides unparalleled context that enables companies to spot insider trading, market manipulation, conduct risk and other critical issues.
Verint call recording software helps enhance compliance, reduce liability, mitigate risk and support customer engagement management by capturing conversations between customers and employees, along with the corresponding activities that take place on employee desktops. This includes data entry, screen navigation and post-call wrap up. When capabilities from Verint speech analytics are added, organizations can search for keywords, anomalies and outliers, and benefit from automatic theme discovery. With this intelligence, organizations can quickly spot areas or instances that require focus and attention.
“RedOwl helps provide a new level of insight and perspective into trading floor activities—especially through our advanced call recording and speech analytics solutions,” says John Bourne, senior vice president, global channels and alliances, Verint Enterprise Intelligence Solutions™. “Our ability to transcribe all of the logs into the RedOwl analytics platform is unique in providing organizations with the insights they need to rapidly detect and respond to out-of-compliance activities.”
“Our partnership with Verint allows RedOwl to provide a comprehensive regulatory surveillance solution,” adds Brian White, chief operating officer, RedOwl. “The landscape for compliance and risk professionals has become increasingly complex, and the RedOwl and Verint partnership enables an unmatched capability to analyze voice alongside email, chat, trades and market data in a single platform.”
The partnership between RedOwl and Verint was finalized in March 2016.
